2 million armed robbery at Edgewater luxury high<br /><br />Adonis Sepulveda, 30, and Ramona Mercado Vasquez, 26, were among the group that broke into the mans home at the St.<br /><br />The resident was pulled from his bed by four gunmen who assaulted him prior to tying him up and was ransacking the apartment, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said in a statement.<br /><br />After a nearly three hour ordeal, the group left the home with approximately $2 million in cash, gold and jewelry. The resident was badly beaten, suffering broken ribs and various bruises to his face and body, according to Molinelli.<br /><br />Sepulveda and Mercado Vasquez are also residents at the 223 unit St. Moritz, which overlooks the Hudson River.<br /><br />Sepulveda and Mercado Vasquez are each charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of kidnapping, and single counts of theft, burglary, possession of a handgun without a permit, possession of a firearm for unlawful purposes and conspiracy to commit robbery.
